In 1971 Edward St. John founded MIE Properties, the forerunner of today’s St. John Properties, Inc. As President he oversaw the development and management of the company’s commercial, retail, and residential portfolio until March 2011, when he appointed Larry Maykrantz to replace him in that role. Mr. St. John is active in a variety of community organizations, serving on the board of directors of the Maryland Science Center, the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, the Johns Hopkins University Real Estate Institute, the BWI Business Partnership, the Baltimore County Planning Board, and the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and has pursued advanced studies in management and business law.

Mr. Maykrantz has been with St. John Properties since 1982. He held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer prior to his appointment as President in March 2011. He oversees day-to-day functions of St. John Properties, with specific responsibilities including all phases of development, asset management, marketing, leasing and financial operations. Mr. Maykrantz holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore, and is a certified public accountant.

Mr. Becker has been with St. John Properties since 1975, and is responsible for working with existing tenants to meet their space and growth needs within St. John Properties' Baltimore portfolio. A graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, he holds a degree in business administration.

Mr. Gish joined St. John Properties in 1988 and oversees land development, design, and building construction. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Frostburg State University.

Mr. Williamson, who joined St. John Properties in 1993, manages the Baltimore area leasing department and more than 10 million sq. ft. of R&D/flex, office, and warehouse space in six Maryland counties. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.

Mr. McFaul, who joined St. John Properties in 2014, brings nearly 25 years of diversified experience in the commercial real estate industry. He formerly served as Divisional Vice President for PS Business Parks, where he managed more than 6.5 million square feet of office and R&D/flex space in the Washington, DC Metro area. Mr. McFaul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master's in Business Administration in Finance from Loyola College in Maryland.

Mr. Pilon, who joined St. John Properties in 1997, manages development projects in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll and Howard counties. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and is a licensed professional engineer.

Mr. Diez has been with MIE Properties, Inc., an affiliate of St. John Properties, since 2000 and is responsible for all of MIE's activities in Louisiana.

Mr. Holbrook joined St. John Properties in 2009 as Director of Federal Programs, with day-to-day responsibilities for The Government and Technology Enterprise (The GATE) project, a 416-acre business community located inside Aberdeen Proving Ground. In his additional role as Regional Partner, he directs the comprehensive development, acquisition, construction, leasing, and asset/property management activities for the firm's 1.2 million sq. ft. portfolio in Virginia as well as Maryland’s Frederick and Montgomery counties. Mr. Holbrook, who has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Masters in Business Administration from American University.

Mr. Rasmussen has been with MIE Properties, Inc., an affiliate of St. John Properties, since 1988. He is responsible for all of MIE's activities in Colorado. He holds an M.S. degree in real estate appraisal and investment analysis from the University of Wisconsin.

Ms. Berzins, who joined St. John Properties in 2004, oversees the firm’s Gaming Division, which has investments in The Reserve Casino and Hotel in Central City, Colorado and Boomtown Casino and Hotel in Reno, Nevada. Ms. Berzins earned her Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore, and serves as a Board Member for the Edward St. John Foundation.

Mr. Thomas, who joined St. John Properties in 2009, is responsible for all operations of St. John Properties Utah. He holds a B.A. in Real Estate Finance from Portland State University and a M.S. in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins. He has instructed courses in commercial real estate at Johns Hopkins and the University of Baltimore, and is the past chairman of the University of Baltimore’s Real Estate & Economic Development Advisory Board.
