St. John Properties Captures Five Honors in BOMA’s “2012 Outstanding Building of the Year Awards”

BALTIMORE, MD (October 22, 2012) – St. John Properties, Inc. captured five separate honors in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Baltimore’s “2012 Outstanding Building of the Year Awards,” in a ceremony held recently at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Hotel. The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) competition, sponsored by BOMA every other year, recognizes excellence in building management by evaluating such categories as budget and fiscal responsibility, staff structure, energy management, building systems maintenance, life safety, environmental initiatives and overall exceptional service.

St. John Properties was the most decorated commercial real estate and management company at the 2012 TOBY Awards, winning five of the twelve categories. The winning entries were:

  • St. John Properties headquarters building – Corporate Building of the Year
  • Maple Lawn Corporate Center – Industrial/Flex Building Award of Excellence
  • Maple Lawn Office Buildings I, II, III and IV – Suburban Office Park Award of Excellence
  • St. John Properties headquarters building – Pinnacle Award for Community Impact
  • Maple Lawn Corporate Center – Environmental Initiative Award
