Maple Lawn office receives LEED recognition

Baltimore, MD (March 8, 2017) — Greenebaum Enterprises and St. Johns Properties’ 123,000-square-foot Class A office building at 8115 Maple Lawn Boulevard in the Maple Lawn mixed-use development has been awarded LEED Gold certification.
The award is given for the property’s core and shell meeting green and sustainable construction requirements. Environmentally friendly features on the property include high-energy HVAC units, double-pane insulated glass and motion-sensor light fixtures.
“Our clients are attuned to the significance and value of reducing operating costs, conserving natural resources and utilizing sustainable practices in the day-to-day operation of their businesses, and establishing a presence in a LEED-certified building is necessary first step,” Richard Williamson, senior vice president of leasing and marketing for St. John Properties, said in a statement.
