15th Annual Lakeshore Plaza Winter Carnival Scheduled for Saturday, December 4th

BALTIMORE, MD (December 1, 2021) – The Lakeshore Plaza Winter Carnival, an annual community event highlighting the musical talents of Anne Arundel County public school students, returns for its 15th consecutive year on Saturday, December 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The festivities will take place at the Lakeshore Plaza retail center, located at MD Route 177 (Mountain Road) and Magothy Beach Road in Pasadena and is free to the general public. Several hundred students are expected to perform this year.

The performance schedule is:

  • 10:00 a.m. – Sunset Elementary School chorus and drama club
  • 10:30 a.m. – Broadneck High School Performing and Visual Arts vocal ensemble
  • 11:00 a.m. – Old Mill Hill School chorus
  • 11:30 a.m. – Stage & Screen Studios
  • Noon – Crofton Elementary School chorus
  • 12:30 p.m. – Meade High School orchestra

The Winter Carnival will also include an exhibition by the Chesapeake High School robotics team and appearances by the Baltimore Orioles Bird and Poe from the Baltimore Ravens. Santa Claus will also be available to pose for holiday photos with the local community.
