St. John Properties Selects Charm City Concierge to Support Tenants Within The GATE at Aberdeen Proving Ground

BALTIMORE, MD (October 10, 2013) – St. John Properties, Inc. has selected Charm City Concierge to support the approximately 45 companies situated within The Government and Technology Enterprise (The GATE at APG) project, with a full complement of business and personal concierge services. St. John Properties has developed twelve office or research and development (R&D) buildings within the past four years, totaling more than 675,000 square feet of space at The GATE, a 416-acre business community located inside Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Harford County. Approximately 2,200 employees currently work at The GATE at APG on a daily basis, which represents 10% of the entire workforce on APG.

Typical services provided by Charm City Concierge include arranging for on-site or off-site luncheons and dinner programs; coordinating special events; making travel arrangements; acquiring tickets to sporting events, concerts and other entertainment venues; managing corporate awards and recognition programs; and handling day-to-day convenience assignments such as ordering flowers and arranging for dry cleaning. Other specialty services include coordinating pet sitting services, house cleaning, personal chef services, grocery delivery, limousine and sedan services and special charter trips.

St. John Properties has the capacity to build up to two million square feet of Class “A” multi-story and single-story office space as well as research and development (R&D) flex/office and retail space at The GATE at APG. The project is the central location for contractors and agencies that support APG, with tenants including The Boeing Company, CACI, General Dynamics, CSC, Raytheon, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Engility, DSCI and Lockheed Martin.
